I was invited to create three animated segments for Devolver Digital’s event film, featuring their vole mascot, Volvy. Tasked with recreating three distinct animation styles: an early 8-bit arcade game, a 90s kids’ TV show, and a classic Atari-style point-and-click adventure, reflecting the evolution of gaming visuals in this mockumentary style film.

In addition to animation, I contributed Storyboarding as well as I co-writing the Field-Run 2 sequence, which takes place at the climax of the film. In this pivotal moment, Volvy’s creator faces a difficult decision to destroy his own creation, which he has lost control of. Animation by Dan Britt
